The Stamp Act period was during October 7, 1765-October 25, 1765. The Stamp Act was an act invented by the British Parliament that made the colonists pay a tax, by a stamp that was on almost every paper, document and playing cards. They made this act to help them gain more money after their Seven Years War against France. That's why they made the colonists pay with only British sterling instead of their own currency.
