I think this photographer’s style is very unique. Most of her pictures are black and white portraits of people. The people in the pictures are people doing ordinary things. A lot of her pictures seem to tell a story, even if there aren’t any words. I think this is an important part of photography.

This project was entertaining and made me appreciate the things that are around me every day. This project also taught me how an interesting angle can make an ordinary object interesting.

Best Leading Lines

I found this project interesting because it made me appreciate the value of leading lines in photography. They capture your attention and take it to the focal point of the picture. Finding good examples of leading lines was difficult, but this project forced me to observe more of my surroundings.

I liked this project because it challenged me to get good angles to make the shadows and light on objects look the best. This was hard at first, but it got easier as I took more. I learned how to use the rule of thirds, shadows, and light in photography.

I found this project fairly simple and easy. Everything around us has texture, so finding a subject was very easy. The hardest part of this project was making a boring subject look interesting.

I enjoyed this project a lot because it was pretty simple and easy to find a subject. Everything in nature has texture, so all I really needed to do was find a good angle.

This project was hard for me because there were more “rules” we had to follow. I also had to keep track of how many photos I had for each category, which was difficult.

This project was fun because it utilized something I use a lot with my camera anyway. I also liked using the different lighting colors and making the collage of people.

Best Pop Art Project

This project was very easy and I was happy with the finished product. The editing was hard at first but really easy after the first time. This was my favorite photo because of the colors and style.

Best Hockney Joiners

I enjoyed making this project, as well as learning about the original artist. I learned that he is a famous painter in the 60’s and still today. I like his style of work because it’s creative and interesting. The project was a little overwhelming at first but easy once I learned the process.

Best Fantasy World

I didn’t really enjoy this project because I struggled with knowing what to add to it. However, I liked having a lot of freedom. Near the end of the project, I struggled with knowing where to add things because my space was limited. All of the things in my photo are very random, and if I were to do this project again I would try to stick to a theme instead.

DIY Photoshop Week

I really liked this DIY Week because it allowed me to be creative and it allowed me to learn new skills. I learned how to make double exposure, typography, and photocopy effect photos this week. The easiest one for me was the double exposure.

I enjoyed this class because it allowed me to be creative without being too self-critical. I liked going outside and taking pictures, and I also liked learning how to use Photoshop. My favorite part of this class was learning with my friends. My favorite projects were pop art, bird's eye perspective, and the DIY weeks.
