Concern that the process may be "light'". All LEAs seem to find benefits with SUMs initiative. Think this is going to take LEAs to the deeper work. Also, feel that PLNs will support the deeper work. LACOE is facilitating the networking of the LEAs. 
OCDE - Only 3 LEAs identified; only the associated supt and supt and CAO facilitate the process; first meeting is about expectations of the process; second meeting is the LEA self-assessment; third meeting the summary letter is created and presented. Supts.) Riverside COE has small team of DA leaders that have met with all 10 distridcts individually. All  LEAs have progressed differently (some have led to a deeper level of analysis with COE team; some working on root-cause analysis through PLN; some analysis through MTSS Cohort 2; some through SELPA/SPS PIR process).  RCOE team (Unit Directors, ES CAO, SPS Asst.
