Currently there are 56 students from P3 to 6th grade and 12 teachers. Since 2016/2017 in Preixens school there is a pilot scheme for 1 to 2 year old children.
 ZER El Sió has a long history in supporting projects and initiatives that promote the use of foreign languages (PELE, PILE, Language Assistant and French as a second foreign language). Currently we are participating in 2 projects in English: eTwinning (Art exchange) and School to School (exchange with Vicente Ferrer foundation in India).
Since 2013/2014 we work with CLIL approach in Arts and Crafts with students from 2nd to 6th grade.

Even though this methodology is not something new for me, the GEP training has been very helpful in order to plan and accomplish it properly. We've been given plenty of interesting and practical resources, procedures, strategies and ideas. Personally, I found it very rich and motivating. 
We've seen our students improve and learn a lot in this lesson, as well as having fun and enjoying it. I feel very proud of them and satisfied with their achievements in terms of both content and language.
It was really helpful and made a difference the materials we co-created with the English teacher. I think we found the way to work with rich Art content in English in an easy way for our students. I am fully convinced that the time we spent thinking and creating the activities, flashcards, templates and materials was worthy. 
Repetition was the key. We worked with the content from different points of view and using all kinds of input such as visuals, mimics, oral, written or hands on activities. Learning takes time and sometimes we, as teachers, tend to move to the next lesson  too quickly, without giving enough time or variety of learning experiences to assimilate it. This is something I will keep in mind for coming lessons. I would also like to explore and try new ways to make my students more self-suficient when it comes to speak and communicate in English. 
I feel truly passionate about this approach and I am looking forward to continuing it. 
It has challenged me as a teacher and that helped me grow and improve.
