It was very important for me. I have practiced for about 1 month for it, and I didn't want to waste my practice. On the contest day, I was excited but nervous too.
After all the performances when the winners were announced. There was not my name, first, I was so sad, but then I thought to participate in the contest and win next year. I started practicing more and working hard.

We had practiced for the tryouts every day in school, and after school, I did practices too. But on the tryouts day, when the coach called out my name, she said sadly that I didn't make the team. She said me not to break down and keep practicing for next year's tryouts. I didn't let my hope down and thought to work hard to get on the team for next year.
