After a while a earthquake destroys the orphanage, nearly killing the child but he survive and looks for his friend who is now armless. After wandering through the ruins for a long time he finds a hospital where he stays due to his sickness, but eventually during the night the hospital falls in on it self.  the child is alone again so now he must wander for longer, he eventually joins a gang who steal food shelter and everything they need to survive. The child meets his soon to be mother who adopts him and takes him home with her husband.
