I am an active theater member and a student council representative.  I am from a single parent house hold and live with my mom and one of my two brothers. I am from Hollister Missouri, but I was raised mostly in Houston. With that I am very proud of being Salvadorian, and love my mix of cultures that make up who I am. This is done by setting up small goals to later achieve a larger goal. This skill is one that I need to work on quit a lot. This is a very important skill to hone because it helps keep me on track. Leadership skill is one of my strengths because I am an active representative for my school and grade through student council. I am also a leader in Drama club as part and head of tech council and an officer for Drama Club. I constantly try to lead by example and learn from my mistakes. As a student council member I try and make a difference in my school for my peers. As an officer and head of tech council I have t lead by example for those under me. I have a lot of responsibilities to my troupe, and I always try to help my directors so I am constantly striving to improve. This is an important skill because in college you have to take leadership sometimes. This could be in class by starting discussions, in group projects to help lead your team, or in clubs I may join. This is a strength of mine because I am very involved in school clubs which means I am constantly interacting with those in my school and community. As part of theater I have helped  produce many different types of shows or performances for our campus, district, and community. I helped work a teen summit which was amazing experience to meet a lot of people not only my age but as well as learn how to navigate the system. I also love to show my school spirit by going to school sport games and having fun with my peers. My troupes focus is to produce the highest stranded of performance for our campus, district, and our community which we do with every show we preform. This is an important skill because it opens me up to meeting many people, and is helping prepare me for college. By being so involved in my theater community as well as community outside I have had to build communication skills to interact with teachers and people I meet from my community.
