- they need help in terms of ITE equipment so that their child can attend HBL concurrently (because neu-pc only provides 2 laptops) hence best if can provide more laptop

- tertiary school fees

- family nutrients (healthy meals) 

- medical attention for elderly

b) National Schemes: 
- NEUPC (provide devices and broadband for families, can be used for HBL) but limited to 2 only. Assuming big-family Faiz has 4 children, they need to share the devices. 
- MOE-FAS / PROMAS - transport, meals, uniform and school shoes for each child. If big-family Faiz has 4 children, meaning each child can be supported by the MOE-FAS. 
- SCFA


c) ETF can come in to provide additional support for these families in terms of: 
- offer assistance in the form of packages based on the needs of the families e.g. package A (laptop + transport fees) 
package B (tablet + transport fees) 
- back to school packages filled with stationeries (one - off package in the beginning of school year), supported by donors
- for pre-school, if mum is not working, to provide additional assistance at the areas where MMPG does not support. 

d) MENDAKI can help to link up these disadvantaged families with other agencies who already providing the additional supports to their own clients. e.g for food assistance, can link up with free food for all. for grocery assistance, can link up with Project Hills.
