That night she forgot to take care of Lucky. Lucky could have waited for dinner and he did but he couldn't wait to be walked. Then the next day when she was told that she forgot to take care of Lucky her Mom yell at her for not emptying the dishwasher. Her Dad then yelled at her even more for forgetting to take care of Lucky.  That was the last conversation her and her Dad had because a speeding car ran a red light and killed her Dad. Amy was sitting by the pool and then she got awoken by a noise so she looked to see if Kedra a little girl  was awake from her nap but she wasn't in her room. Then she remembered that she didn't lock the front door. Hugh and Smokey stole the van because Smokey said "These plates won't trace back to us anyway. They'll lead to whoever owns the van." Amy is pretty smart for saying Aunt Cara and Uncle Van and Mrs. White. Hugh muttered "He maybe my nephew but he's still as stupid as a stump."Amy repeated nanny over in her head a few times to get an idea. Then she got an idea she would say mama goat because mama means nanny. Amy saw that Hugh was asleep so she decided to run away with Kendra. She brought a bag of some beef jurky, some hershy bars and a bottle of water.
