This quote is saying how if you're a bad person, you're gravitating towards hell and if God lets you go, you would immediately fall to hell and there's nothing you can do would help you get out of it. This quote shows that God is very powerful and if he were to let go of his hand from the floodgate, there would be nothing you can do to stop it.
