(R)The market revolution started around 1780's-1830's. It had a huge impact on the economy. (J)Many improvements took over making the U.S economy better then ever. There were communication improvements such as The telegram which was invented by Nikolai and Pavel Durov. They were first used to send messages during the war informing others of deaths, injuries and some times captures.(R) Transportation improvements like the rail road a canals. Trains were originally invented in order to transport ores and other goods from mines, as for canals they were used to transport all types of goods.(J) Agricultural improvements like the cotton gin and reaper. The cotton gin which made picking cotton much faster and the reaper which harvested crops.(R) Industrial improvements such as textile mills for yarns and fabrics to be made into textiles. Businesses and factories grew larger misplacing some independent workers. (J)Farms also grew larger producing for distant, not local, therefore the products had to be shipped. The growth of businesses, factories, and farms also brought trade and investment. Farmers had the best benefits out of everyone else.

(J)The war of 1812 was started because of the fact that British Navy had imprisoned some American sailors, as well as disagreements over trade, westward expansion, and Native American Policy. (R)Officially the British had won and the Americans had lost, but the ones who faced the worst outcome of the war was the Native Americans. They were kicked out their homes and had lost British allies. (J)While America had purpose for the war, Britain practically just did it for fun. (R)Compared to the 11,300 American lives lost, Britain had lost 8,600 British lives. (J)The national anthem actually came from this war. (R)The Star Spangled Banner. (J)The war of 1812 lead up to the market revolution in many ways. It encouraged American manufacturers to produce goods previously imported overseas.(R) By 1816 over 100,000 factories employed by women and children produced roughly $40 million in a year.

(J)So, we've discussed Market Revolution, (R)the War of 1812, Andrew Jacksons Presidency, (J)and what it did for the economy.(R) Along with the Louisiana Purchase. We've concluded that many inventions were made and invented for the purpose of speeding up jobs.
