Grown Ups is a famous 2010 movie directed by Dennis Dugan and written by Adam Sandler, with the same cast you can see in most of Happy Madison movies (Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, etc).

The movie follows a group of friends reuniting in memorial of the death of their basketball coach and spending part of the summer in the lake house, while various events happen around their childish personality. While it has some genuinely funny moments, it ultimately feels like a missed opportunity.

The cast has great chemistry since they are friends off the screen and their friendship gives the movie some realism. However, the plot is predictable and relies too heavily on cheap humor. The movie also tries to touch more sentimental themes, but these moments feel a bit forced and insincere.

Overall, Grown Ups could have been improved with a stronger script and more nuanced characters. Still, if you're looking for a mindless, lighthearted movie to pass the time, Grown Ups might fit your expectations. Just don't expect too much depth or originality, and thats why I give it 2.5 out of 5 stars ☆☆.

Gonzalo Gortan

‘Grown Ups’ is a comedy that brings together a well-known group of actors, including Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. The story follows five childhood friends who reunite for a summer after their old basketball coach dies. The humor mainly comes from the characters joking about getting older, family life, and the challenges of being an adult.

The movie has some funny moments, especially if you enjoy the actor’s style of comedy,, but a lot of the jokes are predictable and rely on physical humor. The chemistry between the actors is clear and adds to the movie’s charm, though the plot is very basic.

Cinematographically, Grown Ups doesn’t offer much. The way it’s filmed is plain and doesn’t do much to stand out. The focus is more on the comedy than on creating memorable or visually interesting scenes.

Overall, this movie is an entertaining, fun and not too serious film, but it relays more on the appeal of its famous cast than on strong cinematography.

Jazmin 🌟🌟🌟

"Grown ups" is a funny comedy that stands out for its focus on friendship and camaraderie. One of the most positive things about the film is its stellar cast, which includes actors like Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Chris Rock, who bring great chemistry and charisma to their characters.

The plot revolves around a group of friends who get together years after graduation and are immersed in a series of comic and nostalgic situations. The film manages to capture the essence of childhood and the importance of maintaining relationships over time.

In addition, "grown ups" offers endearing moments that highlight family values and the fun of life. The humor scenes are light and accessible, making it an ideal choice for family enjoyment. For me, it is a film that, despite its criticism, manages to make people laugh and reflect on friendship and fun in adulthood.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
