Imagism is a form of art, I looked up the features of Imagism and I found "Imagism emphasized simplicity, clarity of expression, and precision through the use of exacting visual images"(L). This is also pretty much the biggest characteristic of Imagism which is using the most direct approach to show the main objects in the art, depicting literally (d). The background have few romance, the main object is the center of the art work (T).

This picture is about creatures and nature. The picture is consist of a tiny mouse and yellow sand grond. The mouse is in the center of the picture, staring at something. On the ground their are some footprints.
I took this picture in the trip with my parents to Grand Canyon last year. Walking throung the rocks, I found this small mouse on the ground. Somehow the mouse is no longer vigorous that it barely move. The mouse looks like thinking something. The face expression sparks my thinking of deeper meaning of the picture.
The mouse is a creature of nature, environment is important to them, especially in the Canyon---place with no green, the mouse is harder to survive. I think the mouse is searching for foods. It fell in disappointment because it didn't find any foods, from the footprints left on the grounds tell me that this is a place with much human activities. I think humans' exploration on the Grand Conyon greatly affect the ecosystem here. The human activities destroyed a lot of habitats, foods sources and other environmental conditions for creatures here by building large tourists buildings. The small mouse is one of the creatures of those creatures who lost habitats. From the face expression---it staring at the barren lands---thinking why human would do this to it, it realized that human as a part of nature should live harmony with nature but not excessive explore and destroy it. I feel so sad at the mouse, the picture looks full of sadness to me.

This picture is about Antelope Canyon, one of the seven wonders of photography in the world. I took this picture in the trip to Antelope Canyon, Arizona last year. The spectacular rocks make me breathtaking. The whole picture is spectacular rocks of Antelope Canyon, different darkness of rocks make the picture beautiful. The biggest characteristic of the picture is rocks are presented in the form of several layers, the obscure rock structure makes people wondering about it's formation and history.
In the trip I learnt that several centuries before, Antelope canyon was a big crack under the ocean, after several centuries, ocean disappeared, this big crack appear on the land. The structures that we see today about the rocks actually is remained by the ocean water. People are even able to find shells in the rocks. To me it's really hard to believe nature has such magical power to "build" such beautiful natural wonder. Nature should be the best architect.

I took this picture in my biology laboratory when I was a freshmen. We were using microscope observation on a leaf. I took this picture to record what do molecules look like.
In the green circle, there are many small particles, and those particles are plants cells. Countless of those cells bond together from the a leaf. Actually every living thing are by cell including people. It's really hard to believe that large plants, creatures are made up by tiny cells. Cells are the basic unit of life, but it's not the smallest unit of life, in the plant there are chloroplast, mitochondria and other smaller structure to make a cell live. If no cells occur, no living things occur in this planet. Small things sometimes look useless, actually they are most important. This picture inspires me to pay attention on details, before doing something big(significant), I have to focus on the details.

I wrote this poem to praise the greatness of Great Wall of China. 3 years before, I visited the Great Wall, it is located in Beijing, the capital of China. The Great Wall was built about 23 hundreds year before, it takes 2 thousands years to build it. Great Wall go through 15 provinces in China, it is one of the seven wonders of world.
In the poem, I focus on depicting the bricks of Great Wall, the bricks that build Great Wall are big, rough. Because in the poem the Great Wall represent China, in more than 5000 thousand years history of China, Chinese fight for this country with so much sacrifice. Wars used to make China thrive, split. 24 dynasties form the China today. China looks like the bricks of Great War, the wrinkles on the bricks shows the wars, splitting that China experienced. But the Great Wall never break in the 2000 years of it history because bricks are concrete with each other---Chinese ethics united together. All bricks concrete together form the Great Wall---56 ethnics bond together forming the China with big territory today.
