-ISIS is still responsible for killing people in separate religions today.
-70% of the 85,000 refugees still feel under a threatened environment when freely worshiping.
_80% of the world in both Syria and Iraq live with persecutions or limits on their ability to worship especially under the ISIS territories.
I personally think that other areas that live under an extremely religious bound area are starting to believe that mass killings of others in different religions are not helping but only hurting causing any other type of religions to look down upon them and not be inspired to move to the religion but to move away from it which is the opposite of what they wanted. As for the world's decision most countries agree that killing your own people is just plain wrong and that the more death that you cause the more power and pride that you can lose making your own world seem as a non important one waiting to be conquered but others willing to do better. The best way that individuals could reduce the potential is to encourage others that killing someone with a different belief than your is not okay because if the world is constantly against itself we can never move forward as a whole.

Religious ideologies contribute to to the prevention of genocide by people just simply following the rules of their religion. Someones religion can keep them from killing to keeping them from drinking coffee (Christians and Mormons). Following a religion can also make somebody do a horrible thing in honor of their religion. For example a sacrifice or a shooting to show their religions strength. Also i don't think that the most effective solution to genocide is found in the religious realm.

-More than 3 million people have been displaced and are living in camps.
-The government responded to non-Aryan uprising by implementing a genocidal campaign enlisting the help of the Arab militia called Janjaweed as well as the Sudanese Army.
- Over 4,000 people have died.
1. Religious ideologies can perpetrate genocide by creating massive support for one which can cause massive hatred for another. Also, certain supporters of religions can become radicalized and either perpetrate genocide of other religions, or perpetrate their own by being a horrible example of their religion. But, religion can also provide prevention against genocide by preaching beliefs of loving and respecting others and trying to prevent the radicalization of members of their group. Secular ideologies such as homophobia and sexism help to perpetrate genocide of LGBT members and women. On the other hand, secular ideas of equality can help prevent genocide. I think that the most effective solution to genocide includes both the secular and religious realm. As long as ideologies from both areas continue to perpetuate genocide, it will take actions from both sides to create the prevention of genocide.
2. Individuals can stay informed about other countries and the acts of genocide. The reason that these places are able to get away with these acts are because we are uninformed and because we don't hold them accountable for such actions. By staying informed you can become educated and help to prevent supporting genocide and can actually help to prevent it. In conclusion, we must stop the enablers, demand action, and make human rights a core value in our lives.

Religious ideologies perpetrate genocides by supplying them with support in having hate for another religion, which then one can become very biased on one's own religion. However, secular ideologies can contribute by spreading 'stereotypes' of a religion or race, causing everyone to side with the one who is making these accusations, rather than with the victims. Religious ideologies, however, prevent genocide by sharing one's beliefs in that you must love and accept each other, according to what one's religious scripture says. Secular ideologies prevent genocide by spreading the idea that all human are equal, and do not deserve such a harsh punishment.

-A declaration of genocide has significant legal and moral implications that would require the U.S.(other similar countries) to do whatever it takes to rescue the refugees and end the killing.
-A report issued by the Holocaust Museum documented the attempt by ISIS to exterminate the Yazidi's, describing in detail the mass killings and sexual slavery inflicted on that community as well as on Christians and other religious minorities.
-Christians, Yazidi's and other religious groups are not simply victims of war; they are targets of eradication much like the Jews during the Holocaust. There is more than enough evidence to declare ISIS guilty if genocide under international law.
1. I believe that certain religions have people to believe that if you do not believe in what they believe in than you are wrong, against God or their Gods, and should be killed. These people may believe that what they are doing is for God and will get them into Heaven. Maybe, other world issues cause an uprising of these people to kill others with different views on international problems.

It can contribute to the perpetration of genocide because since people are committed to this religion it can cause people to hate those who disagree or don't believe in their religion. While it can contribute to prevention because certain religions have rules like "thou shalt not kill". It would prevent you from murdering someone, if you are committed to your religion.
2.) You can reduce or prevent genocide by not hating people just because of what someone else has said or how they dress or what they believe in. While how you could inflict genocide, you can just go with the crowd and hate people just because of what they believe. You could spit, curse, kill, and burn those you hate.

Religious ideologies to prevent would be how people look at what is going to happen and what they believe in and what would be best for their religion.
Secular ideologies would be if a country was wealthy enough and have enough money to not need to kill people to get rid of a large population or not need to capture people for war to prove something to another country.
I think that secular realm is most effective because a city or a country's government is the one responsible for what happens and what they want to happen due to what the city or country's resources are is what will happen. Most of the time the government is going after people of a specific religion so I don't think that any religious beliefs will help solve the genocide problem.
2. People can stick to their own beliefs and what they think is best to happen when they want to reduce their support. Supporting the genocide just helps the government not punish them but deep down if you know something's not right then you don't need to support it and not talking about it will help reduce support. Other countries can sen some of their own military to those spots to help stop the genocide like America did with the holocaust.

I think the most effective solution to genocide is found in religious things because many people would have a different beliefs such as lslamic beliefs in the north and Christianity beliefs with traditional beliefs in the south and by doing that they would have to follow their rule in what religion they believe in.

2.Mostly what people would do is rebel and go on strikes but theirs no point of doing that if it won't change. Solutions are being able to prioritize these genocides. One solution is information, if you're informed about the genocides today and from the past, you can learned how to truly stop what has been going on in sudan, syria, and other places that have many bad genocides. Being informed would help prevent things down to a balance level or a low level of not having any genocides. This will help us find a way to get rid of whats been going on for hundreds of years now make our world more equal to people having different beliefs

(1 Continued) I believe the most effective solution to genocide is through politics/government, because not everyone follows the same religion, and government can impose lose and punishments for such crimes.
2. Individuals can reduce their own potential by learning about past and present genocides, learn from them, and better the future. Strikes will not be as effective as getting one's word out and paying it forward by not supporting irrational government actions. We can all start by seeing each other as equals, and following the golden rule.

1. I think that religious ideologies could prevent any killings, some religions may state that murder is going against God and there maybe religious organizations to prevent such things. Some worldly ideologies could prevent genocide would be: non-religious organizational groups protesting against any killings of any group/individual. I think the most effective solution to genocide is founded in the religious realm because most secular issues start up due to religious reasons. Many religions believe that if you don't follow their practices than you are wrong and evil.
2.Any individual could practice the act of not making racist comments/jokes or insulting others religions. One could also start an equality group/organization to protest racism and the religious differences.

*sorry I couldn't edit my original post*
