I am a teacher of English and European Projects Head Coordinator at TOROS College MERSİN / TURKEY.I have been working with European projects for about 5 years. 1.1 What digital skills are important?Think about the different digital skills outlined by Ollie and in the animation. Which of these do you feel are the most important, now in 2015? Do you agree with the 10 items from the Mashable website? And which ones will be more important in the future?

I agree with the 10 ıtems from the Mashable website. And I think; the most important skills will be :

- Managing information

Communicating

Collaborating

Using digital Tools

Problem solving

Presentation skills

In the future I think collaborating and using digital tools will be more important than other items.

1.2: The future of work Do you agree with the key ideas presented by Ollie (via the Jeff Brenman presentation)? How do you think that work will evolve between now and 2025? Is this a positive or negative development?

I agree with the key ideas presented by Ollie. The future of work is trasparent on demand and very competitive. Working collaboratively will also be quıet important. I think, there will be both positive and negative development at the end.

No,I haven’t had an online interview before. And; Yes, I have a Linkedin profile, but I don't use it actively . My students are 9 and because they are so young , I haven’t discussed with them the topic of accessing jobs in the future.

1.5 Future thinking: Ollie outlines some of the changes and challenges to expect in the future and suggests 5 principles for us as teachers to follow in our work in the classroom. Do you agree with Ollie's analysis? Will these changes/challenges occur and how would you address them in your work as a teacher?

I am quıte interested at using web 2 tools in my classroom. I like creating web sites for my projects and for my class activities via weebly. I also am good at creating digital content for example ; by using powtoon to create animations, kizoa to create slideshows etc..

App Development : Ollie highlights the importance of having good reasons for developing an app. The first step of introducing app development with your students would be to brainstorm problems that could be solved with an app. However, for you to be a little ahead, think about what local problem you could tackle with your students and share it here. Module 5: How to use social media Last module you shared one thing you especially liked about your school. As a starter in this module we'd like you to share one thing you think is not so great at your school and that could/should be improved. It could be a lack of collaboration between staff, uncomfortable or unpractical classrooms, a lack of culture of celebrating successes, limited professional development, etc. Chose the one thing that you think if it would change would improve your teaching the most. I take place in eTwinning projects and use twinspace with my pupils. My pupils have the opportunity to share, communicate & collaborate with with their friends from all over Europe in a safe environment.

I also use Facebook as a learning place and I have created learning groups for my students there.

5.4 Internet safety and responsible use . Ollie recommends looking and discussing with your students social media site's privacy settings. What other activities can you think of to address safe and responsible use of social media by students? Can you pinpoint some good resources from your country about this?
