Also if a student tries there hardest and does there best but only gets a 2 and you don't reach the expectations the teacher knows they need help. Also if you get a three but you don't know why you did not get a four the scale tells you why. Maybe its because of a spelling error. When you want to get a four which every one wants to get you look at a scale and it tells you what you need to be a four. If we did not have a scale it would be so hard because you would not know what your exceptions should be. but it makes everything easy with a scale because if you want to do the best you can it tells you what you need. It really helps kids who always want to do the the best they can because they know how to from a scale if they have a three and did not know how to get to a four a scale tells them how to get it. It really helps me because i would look at it so i can reach a four and always do good. thats how a reading scale helps me and other people succeed.

A reading scale is something that you would use too help you get to a higher level in reading or math. So, say I was at a two and I wanted to get to a three then I would look at the scale and it would tell me what I needed to do to get to a three or four.Also the scale tells me the expectations for this topic in math or genre in reading.That is why a reading scale helps you improve and showed you what to work on.

There is usually writing on the side of each number to show what they need to do to be at that number. The teacher would look at it and see if the student has everything it says to be a three or a four just like everyone wants to be.
