Mentee could have been relying on the mentor to help establish goals and help work through solutions to achieve them. They may feel they are not able to continue to do this on their own and feel they would be back to square one.

If a mentee views you as a friend towards the end of the sessions, they could experience anxiety at having to face challenges without your input.

On the flip side, if they don't feel the sessions have been helpful, it could cause negative feelings for the mentor.

Your mentee might feel abandend after last call , so agreeing on possible other people they could talk to , ie family partners or backup .descussing what progress looks like in the minds of each party and way for forwards
