         <description><![CDATA[<div>Transcription is when DNA has to be copied to make proteins.&nbsp; However, DNA is in the nucleus and cannot exit the nucleus, while proteins have to be made in ribosomes, outside the nucleus.&nbsp; As a result, DNA has to be copied so that those copies, the RNA, have the instructions travel to the ribosomes for protein synthesis to occur.</div>]]></description>
