Why Roa was interested by animals ?

Sometimes the animals he represents are dead, alive, or even in the decomposition phase. Roa is fascinated by animals because they carry a strong symbolism. Through his works he invites us to wonder about their importance in today's world. Representing animals in urban environments is a way of reintegrating nature into places that have been concreted or abandoned by humans.
