When you multipy by 2 you double the other number

4 x 2 = 4 + 4 = 8

When you mulitply by 3 you double the other number then add another set.

4 x 3 = 4 + 4 = 8 + 4 =12

When you multiply by 5 you multiply the other factor by 10 then split it in half.

When you multiply by 5 the last number will either be 5 or 0.

5 x 6 = 10 x 6 = 60 ÷ 2 = 30

10x5=50 so if 10x5 you would take away the one and put the 5.
