Creating this portfolio is a chance for me to explore the Padlet platform. I could say it is interesting and I am looking forward to more fun ways to utilise this platform.

In the past, Google sites were my top personal preference when it comes to documenting or making a portfolio. However, I would like to try a different thing this time. Overall, Padlet is not as bad as I thought before, and it has more features now, which ease creators in building a comprehensive content here.

The first e-learning activity that was given to us was to create a digital portfolio to enable us to organise our e-learning activities throughout the semester. The purpose of this digital portfolio also aims to assist us in achieving most of the ISTE standards to prepare us for the continuously evolving technological world.

First and foremost, creating a digital portfolio in itself depicted that I leveraged technology and took the active role in choosing which platform to display my progress throughout the course. As a student in the 21st century, I constantly strive to improve the quality of my learning to the best of my ability. Through the creation of this portfolio, I was empowered to demonstrate my digital competency in a variety of ways such as using Padlet effectively while achieving the course objectives.

Besides, I recognised my responsibility to manage my personal data such as home address, passwords and identification number from being exposed online as I am aware of how the data-collection technology track my navigation online

All in all, the creation of the digital portfolio marks the continual of an effective learning process which is student-driven.

Throughout this e-learning, I was amazed by the features of the smart boards in the classroom. In my opinion, the usage of smart boards is on trend as stimulation is one of the factors to satisfy students' diverse needs. Of course, other aspects like the learning objectives and the target skills should not be neglected while utilising technologies in the T&L process. Hence, the infographic has perfectly outlined ideas to use technologies to its best advantages in the classroom.

Sensory learning is crucial for children’ development. Even though the use of technology can better assist students’ learning, allowing them to experience touching the board by themselves can promote more effective learning. Hence, after the teacher has finished teaching how to use the Ten Frames, she should have given the students a chance to explore the use of the frames by themselves.

Besides, using Quizizz to test students’ understanding is a great way to boost students’ motivation as they are prone to be more competitive among their peers. This approach enables students to enhance their digital literacies as they become more familiar with the integration of the technology in education. In order to further develop their digital competency, creating a game based on what they have learned promotes them to be empowered learners. They can leverage technology and utilise various online platforms such as Educaplay, Kahoot and many more.

This task enhanced my understanding of the instructional model. I got to apply it in the lesson plan that we made. There are a lot of technologies utilised in the video too.

A few ISTE standards I identified throughout this task are Innovative Designer and Creative Communicator. The former standard can be seen when we use Canva to create the infographics. Meanwhile, the latter is expressed when all of us communicate using Whatsapp etc to share thoughts and information.

Through this e-learning, I learnt the aspects that need to be assessed and improved in order to produce high quality digital products. Besides, I also learnt how to design a quality rubric and set standards for any form of interactive digital media in order to ensure high quality products.

After finishing this e-learning, I got to explore more on online assessments. As a teacher, I will have to do a lot of assessments later; this task helped me understand it further. I get to polish my comprehension in judging and evaluating the students using the assessment templates and examples that I have found.

There are a lot of templates other than the one we have pasted, the assessment can also be done on kids-friendly app such as quizzizz and quizalize. The rubric we have found has also helped me know how to evaluate my students. I also got to learn about self-assessment through this work.

After utilising countless applications to create the asked teaching resources, I acknowledge that there are endless possibilities for creating interactive and creative applications for students. Other than the 3 mobile applications we have shown here, there are some others such as DuoLingo for language learning, the typical Google Classroom and Kahoot for quizzes. It is fun knowing that these apps are helpful and can be accessed easily on our mobile phones. It is convenient for students and teachers. I will be using these applications for my lessons later.

K : There are 2 types of assessments that teachers can do to evaluate students' performance and comprehension. They are formative and summative assessments. Formative assessment is done throughout the learning process. This type of assessment allows students to make improvements immediately based on the feedback received. While a summative assessment occurs at the end of the topic where students will be graded.

W : I wonder if there are any specific aspects of teaching and learning that can be assessed by teachers and how effective the assessment is to teachers and students.

L : After doing the e-learning task, I discovered a suitable way to assess the quality of one's teaching (e-learning course) by setting up an effective checklist and a standard rubric. K : My prior knowledge of teaching resources centered on presentation slides, videos and pictures. As technologies advanced, I came to know a few platforms that provide interactive and engaging ways to learn such as Quizizz and Kahoot.

W : Even though Quizizz and Kahoot are widely used due to their accessibility and engaging features, I would like to explore a more cost-friendly platform that I can use to digitalise my T&L. I would also like to enhance my skills in displaying my exercises in a more creative way using Canva or other platforms.

L : As I explored the Internet, I found many platforms that teachers can use to provide intervention practices to better assist students in T&L. Some of the platforms that I found are Wordwall, Educaplay, Bombazzle and Quizalize. These platforms are suitable to be used as part of your exercises. Meanwhile, teachers can use platforms such as Liveworksheet, Google Form, Quizizz and Kahoot to evaluate students' understanding at the end of the lesson. What I love about Liveworksheet is you can incorporate 'text-to-speech' options to teach students listening skills. Besides, students can voice their answers directly onto the worksheet. However, for this e-learning activity, we chose to do our assessment in Quizizz to suit our objective of teaching students superlative adjectives.

K : After joining online classes, webinars and workshops virtually, I realised that many technical problems occur during live sessions. Hence, it is crucial that as organisers, we have to prepare ourselves with these issues in order to have effective live streaming.

W : What are the appropriate platforms that one can use to have an effective live stream (webinar)?

L : I learned that each platform serves its function of delivering information but with its own different distinctions. For example, Facebook Live lets you connect with your followers, share your screen, and invite visitors.

Another platform is Instagram Live. However, Instagram Live is more informal and spontaneous. Hence, it's not suitable for educational purposes. Besides, it only last for a while and has a poorer resolution.

YouTube Live is more suitable for education as it is more professional and reliable, but it necessitates additional equipment and setup.

IR.40 serves a lot of purpose in education. It should be highlighted and optimised more so we can benefit the most out of it.

Some of the field in education that it benefitted are T&L filled with technology, cultivating innovative talent, standardisation of curriculum and generalised blended learning. It seems to me that if all of this weren't achieved previously, the effectiveness and enhancement of education would go into doom.
