Some major origins in the reproductive system are the external genitalia, the ovaries, uterus, Fallopian tubes, cervix, urethra and the testis. The external genitalia helps sperm enter into the body and it protects the internal organs from diseases and infections. The ovaries secrete the hormones estrogen and progesterone which help a healthy development in women and puberty. The hormones help prepare the uterus for menstruation and every month the ovaries release an egg which is called ovulation. When an egg becomes fertilized it attaches to the wall of the uterus which makes a placenta and creates a fetus. The Fallopian tubes are used to transport the eggs each month from the ovaries to the uterus. The cervix is apart of the the lower part of the uterus. The cervix allows blood to flow from the uterus to the vagina. The cervical canal is usually narrow but during labor because of body hormones, the opening can widen to 4 inches. The cervical canal is also a passageway for sperm. Sperm has to travel through it to fertilize the egg cell. The testis are glands where sperm and testosterone are created. Testosterone is made to develop sexual characteristics in males.

https://www.google.com/search?q=female+reproductive+system&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjyrsiZh77UAhUQ6mMKHYcLA2cQ_AUICigB&biw=1366&bih=631&safe=active&ssui=on#imgrc=0PnqMmsK1qmGaM:

https://www.google.com/search?q=female+reproductive+system&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjyrsiZh77UAhUQ6mMKHYcLA2cQ_AUICigB&biw=1366&bih=631&safe=active&ssui=on#safe=strict&tbm=isch&q=male+reproductive+system&imgrc=wGmGzXH3ONMOgM:

The reproductive system works with the nervous system, the hormones in the Reproductive system can affect how the nervous system develops. The nervous system sends impulses to the reproductive system for when to secrete hormones and when to release the sperm, and eggs. The endocrine system sends hormones to the reproductive system and controls how it functions. There are endocrine glands that secrete sex hormones. These glands are used for sexual development, and growth spurts.

In a frog their testes are attached to their kidneys and when the frogs mate, male frogs force female frogs to release their eggs from the cloaca and the male frog releases sperm from the cloaca. In a human females release eggs from the ovaries and males release sperm from the testis. In a frog, their testes open into the kidneys where sperm is created. Sperm is carried through ureters. In the female reproductive system, frogs have a pair of ovaries and a pair of oviducts. The ovaries are connected to the kidneys and they carry the eggs which are released by the oviducts.

https://image.slidesharecdn.com/frogbodypartsandfunctions-160914145801/95/frog-body-parts-and-functions-16-638.jpg?cb=1473865259

Males can get a cancer called prostate cancer. It is in a man's prostate and it is a small gland the size of a walnut that creates seminal fluid. Most of the time there are no symptoms but sometimes it can be hard to urinate and no one knows the cause. As you get older you become more at risk and its most common in men older than 60 years old. Cervical cancer is when there is a tumor on the cervix which is the lower part of the uterus. Cervical cancer can be caused by human papillomavirus infection, having multiple sexual partners, smoking, and taking birth control. This infection can cause an abnormal growth of cervical cells which causes cancer. For treatment you can get surgery and radiation therapy.

https://www.organicfacts.net/wp-content/uploads/prostatecancer.jpg

http://india.columbiaasia.com/sites/default/files/cervical%20cancer%20stages.jpg

https://image.slidesharecdn.com/prostatecancer-160324213514/95/prostate-cancer-12-638.jpg?cb=1458855397
