By this continuing to occur will cause sea levels around the world to rise and can be an issue.

3) A description is it talks about how Antarctica is the most isolated and unhabitable place and due to the climate change it is causing a reformation and melting of the area.

4) The intended audience is city officials and people that are dealing with climate change in the area that they are living in.

5) It shows pathos by describing the significant feel of danger by the climate change increasing and how it can not only destroy Antarctica but as well as other countries.

6) The article doesn't show any weakness or bias and it doesn't take on any side that its correct just talks about the state that Antarctica is in and what could eventually happen later on.

7) The relevance it has to my topic is that it shows how serious and dangerous it can be to the environment and the species living in it and by this occuring it can impact other areas with actual individuals that live there causing issues.

Accessed 1 Oct. 2024.

1) The purpose of the article was to inform individuals about climate change, from what it is to how it began to how international responses about it to global impacts and the serious effects it has caused many areas around the world.

2) The summary is scientists studying climate change have found that changes in precipitation patterns increase the frequency and severity of precipitation as well as the incidence, duration, and intensity of heat waves, and these are the factors that cause the harsh environmental issues and how international officials took efforts quickly and world governments urgently needed to recognize and prevent rising global temperatures caused by human activities. Even though there were efforts to help, the effects were still very poor.

3) A description is how scientists in Europe and America started to realize in the 1800s that gases in Earth's atmosphere behaved like those in a greenhouse. They noticed that while solar radiation can flow through these gasses, a large portion of the heat that reflects back from the surface is captured and held in reserve. The global scientific community came to the conclusion in the late 20th century that Earth has shown a long-term warming trend at a rate significantly faster than predicted by natural occurrences.

4) The intended audience is students in schools or teachers that are trying to see the beginning of climate change and what even happened to make it have a negative effect on many regions.

5) It shows pathos because it has emotional appeal towards the audience by showing how difficult and hard it was for the regions and humans that are suffering from climate change.

6) The article doesn't any bias, because each organization and official put in to help from around the world and try to reduce harsh issues by performing acts to benefit regions and humans.

7) The relevance it shows towards my topic is how climate change started and how it forms leading to many factors that are very harmful, which leads to bad results towards species and humans.
