1) The purpose of this article was to show how many regions suffer from climate change and reduced many of their products and resources, lots of officials/programs have talked about the significant dangers and indigenous activists have made an effort to protect land from ranching and logging, oil and gas production, slash-and-burn forest clearing for palm oil plantations, and mining and logging activities to try to eliminate more danger to the regions.

2) The summary is how many officials and organization recognizing the dangerous effects going on in the different regions and lead to migration occurring and many changes from climate change but then indigenous activists tried to perform in beneficial acts to help out, and reduce the dangers.
