The more specific details I liked were that most of the plot twists made sense and followed people's intentions. My favorite part of the the book was the descriptive nature of the book. I could fully imagine the scenes and their dark and gritty theme's.  My favorite character was peeta mellark
The author used personification very well to show some specific massages. At the start of the novel  Katniss is emotionally blind. I know this because in the text t mentions, “The words are sinking in. My anger fading. I’m torn now between thinking I’ve been used and thinking I've been given an edge. Haymitch is right. I survived my interview, but what was I really? A silly girl spinning in a sparkling, dress. Giggling. The only moment of
any substance I hail was when I talked about Prim.” During the events that unfold, Katniss comes to understand emotion more than she did. This can be seen in chapter 19, when it states, “Impulsively, I lean forward and kiss him, stopping his
words. This is probably overdue anyway since he’s
right, we are supposed to be madly in love.” At the end of the novel Katniss becomes more emotional and appears to understand emotions easier exept love she still doesnt understand that. This information is shown in the book on page 288 when is tells of, “For a moment, I’m almost foolishly happy and then confusion sweeps over me.
