For the World Music & Cultures Final Project, I did a analysis and review of Woodkid's The Golden Age (2013).

I wanted to do this project because I believe that Woodkid (Yoann Lemoine) is a drastically underrated artist, and I wish to spread awareness of his incredibly heart-wrenching, moving, and unique style of music.

One of the most significant challenges I had on this project was trying to come up with different ways to descript the 'symphonic pop' style of music used by Woodkid.

If I could do the project again, I would most likely get deeper into my analysis of the musician's music videos and visuals, are they are a significant factor in the work.
