Here another basic things about me;

I am the second child from 4 siblings. My mom is a high school math teacher and once taught me when i was in upper form. While my dad serve in the army before he retired and being a full time househusband. Both of them have shaped me into someone who independent and capable of contributing to others.

KHALIFAH

• human is the vicegerants of Allah on earth, entrusted to manage, prosper, and protect it.

• angel once said human is the one who causes corruption but Allah knows better

KHAYR RAHMAN

• the followers of Prophet Muhammad is the best community for mankind

• enjoin good, forbid evil (amar ma’ruf nahi munkar)

• believe in Allah

• some people of the book believe in Allah but majority of them reject the truth ( Yahudi & Nasrani)

UMMATAN WASATAN

• as just balanced commuity in all aspects of life

• we have chosen by Allah to become witness over makind (showing the truth of Islam)

• The Prophet Muhammad SAW himself is a witness over his ummah

• Allah guides and protects the belivers who hold firmy to faith

• Allah will never waste the faith, worship and good deeds of the believers

Umar (RA) narrated that a man came to the prophet, asking about islam, iman ihsan and hour.

• ISLAM : shahadah, salah, zakah, fasting in ramadhan, hajj if able

• IMAN : believe in Allah, His angels, Books, Messengers, the last day, and qadar (good and bad)

• IHSAN : worship Allah as if you see Him, and know He sees you.

• HOUR : none knows except Allah

• SIGNS (of hour) : a female slave will give birth to her mistress

SIGNIFICANCES OF THE HADITH OF JIBRIL

• Foundation of religion : explains Islam (5 pillars), Iman (6 articles of faith) and ihsan (excellence in worship)

• Clarity in learning : shows the methods of teaching through questions and answers

• Awareness of the unseen : reminds that the exact time of the Hour is unknown , only Allah knows

• Signs of the hour : prepares muslims to be aware of changes in society before the Day of Judgement

IHSAN

In order to achieve ihsan, the islam (basic) has to be strong. once islam is strong, iman (belief) must also be deeply rooted in the heart.

The importance of pilars of islam:

• to strengthen bond bettwen us & Allah

• to strengthen bond between us & others

• to refinig souls and keeping away from major sins

• to make us the real servants of Allah

ADAB IN SEEKING KNOWLEDGE

• we must wear aclean and appropriate attire to attend classes

• refer to the knowledgeable person and dont interrupt them while they are teaching

• dont be afraid to say you dont understand and always ask.

simplify hadith :

one day, the companions were sitting with the prophets when man suddenly appeared. His clothes were extremely white, his hair was very black, he showed no signs of travelling, and no one among them knew him. The man sat very close to the prophet with his knee tpiching his knee and his hands placed on his thights. He asked “O Muhammad, tell me about Islam”

The prophet replied: : Islam is to testify that there are no god but Allah and MUhammad is His Messengers.”

1. Belief in Allah

   the first and most crucial element upon which Islamic faith is established. The dalil which is Quran emphasizes Allah’s oneness, creation, and sustenance of the universe.

Application :

one must accept the oneness of Allah with no partners or offspring. They must strengthen this belief through , regular five daily prayer, Quranic reflection, observing the natural world’s order and believe in the way Allah is described in the Quran, Sunnah.

2. Belief in Malaikah

   Accepting the existance of angels as spiritual beings created by Allah to carry out His commands and fulfillvarious roles, including recording deeds, delivering messages and praising Allah.

Application :

We need to increase taqwa which is the feelings of scared of god by aware that angels always record good and bad deeds. Nest is avoid sins by feeling ashamed and afraid to commit sins knowing angels are always present and lastly is strengthen faith in the unseen by believe in the unseen matters decrees=d by Allah, even if we cannot see them.

3. Belief in kutub

   affirming the divin eorigin of the scriptures revealed by Allah to His messengers, including the Tawrat, Zabur, Injil and Al-Quran as source of guidance and wisdom for humanity. Dalil mentioned that Allah has revealed holy books to prophets for guidance.

Application:

Study and follow the teachings of these books especially the quran

Implementing beliefs from Al Quran into lives involves several steps :

- study and understanding : we need to study the teachings of the quran by undertanding its principles, values and guidance.

- integration into daily life : make a conscious effort to integrate the teachings of the kitab into your daily life as such in behaviour, life ad interactions with others.

Al Quran as dalil the truth of Islam

1. Miraculous nature - its beutiful language, eloquence and literary style are considered miraculous beyond human capability.

2. Fulfillment of prophecies - Quran contains numerous prophecies that have been fulfilled, demonstrating its devine origin.

3. Consistency and preservation - the teachings in the quran are consistence without any alteration and ther are preserved

4. Scientfic accuracy - Quran contains scientific knowledge not known to humanity at the time of its revelation, indicating divine knowledge.

5. Challenges and rhetorical power - Quran challenges humanity to produce something like its verses, a task considered impossible by Muslims.

6. Guidance and wisdom - Quran provides guideline foe all aspects of life, addressing matters of faith, morality, law and spirituality.

First, Farrica started off the discussion by explaining outward manners. She highlighted that asking questions is important in seeking knowledge as it is also half of knowledge. We should not be scared to ask from our teachers, if we don’t ask it may lead to misunderstanding and confusion. Moreover, knowing the right way of asking question and making sure your understanding is correct is part of why it is half of the knowledge.

Next, Lily also took part in explaining outward manners. She emphasized the importance of eliminating bad habits and manners to ensure that we stay away from sins and the routes that lead to them. This is because commiting sins may lead to weak memory. Moreover, she mentioned on always taking notes because the human brain can sometimes remember information for only a limited time. Therefore, by taking notes we can revise easily and studies have shown that writing down notes makes us memorise better.

Then, we moved on to inward manners. Firstly, Hazirah explained about having clear goals when seeking knowledge. We should first know what we are looking for and what we want to achieve. After that, we need to plan how to gain that knowledge, whether through reading, attending classes, or learning from others. Finally, we should decide our purpose, whether it is for personal growth, career development, or to be able to teach others.

After that, Aulia continued by sharing that consistency is also considered as an adab in seeking knowledge. Consistency in seeking knowledge is the key to growth and success as learning is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey that requires patience and dedication.  By setting aside time regularly to study, read, or explore new ideas, we can strengthen our understanding and build lasting skills.

Lastly, I,Aliah, concluded the inward manners by stressing the importance of having clear intention when it comes to learning. The main purpose of learning is to seek for Allah’s pleasure. To illustrate, we study because we want to help the ummah to gain beneficial knowledge so they will out of ignorance and become closer to Allah.

Qada’ : means decision, judgement, completion or decree. It refers to something that has been decided or settled firmly.

Qadar : means measure, proportion or destiny. It carries the idea that everything has been created with specific measure, time and limit.

Technical meaning

Qada’ : Allah’s eternal decision and determination of all matter since before creation. It is His overall decree of what will exist.

Qadar : The actual unfolding of the decision in reality, according to the exact measure, time and way that Allah has willed. It is how His decree takes place in creation.

Four components of Qada’ and Qadar

1. Knowledge - Allah has complete and perfect knowledge of everything, past, present and future

2. Writing - Everything is written in al- Lawh al - Mahfuz (the Preserved Tablet)

3. Will - Nothing occurs except by Allah’s will and permission.

4. Creation - Allah is the creator of everything including human actions and choices.

Benefits of believing in Qada’ and Qadar

• increases faith and reliance on Allah

• teaches patience during difficulties

• encourages gratitude in times of ease

• protects from pride or arrogance, knowing success is from Allah

• brings peace of mind and reduces anxiety as everything happens with devine wisdom

Prophets and the Message of al-Tawhid

• prophets and messengers were sent to different nations and times

• their central message was al-Tawhid: romworship Allah alone without associating partners with Him

• they reminded people of faith,morality and the hereafter

Necessities of the messengers

1. to deliver Allah’s message clearly

2. to guide mankind towards truth and goodness

3. to warn against shirk

4. to be role models of faith, honesty and patience

Greatest blessings given to Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

• Allah sent Prophet Muhammad SAW to all of the two races of mankind and jinn

• He will granted the position of greater intercession

• the earth was made a place of prayer and means of purification for him

Application in daily life

To emulate the prophets, especially Prophet Muhammad SAW, one can :

• practice sincerity and honesty in all actions

• show kindness and mercy to family, friends and even strangers

• e patient during hardship and grateful in blessings

• follow the Quran and Sunnah as daily guidance

Significance of belief in the Hereafter

• It is one of the six pillars of faith in Islam.

• Reminds humans that life in this world is temporary, while the Hereafter is eternal.

• Encourages people to live with purpose and obedience to Allah.

Effects of Belief in the Last Day

1. Encourages righteousness – motivates believers to do good deeds and avoid sins.

2. Strengthens patience – helps endure trials, knowing that reward awaits in the Hereafter.

3. Prevents arrogance – reminds that wealth and power are temporary, and everyone will face accountability.

4. Provides hope and peace – gives comfort that justice will be served, even if not achieved in this world.

Definition: Ihsan means excellence or perfection in worship and conduct.

Hadith Jibril: “To worship Allah as if you see Him; and if you cannot see Him, know that He sees you.”

Two aspects:

• ihsan towards Allah - sincerity,devotion and obedience in worship

• ihsan towars people - kindness, justice and compassion in dealings with others

Significance:

it is the highest level of faith (after iman and islam)

Daily practise:

• praying with full focus

• being honest

• helping others

  Benefit of belief in the Here after:

  brings a person closer to Allah and earns His love and mercy

1. Respect even if disagree - Prophet Ibrahimrespected his father, Azar, even though his father worshipped idols.

2. Advise gently - he gave advice with wisdom and kindness, not harshly.

3. Care for their feelings - he maintained a good relationship and didn’t hurt his father’s feelings.

4. Pray for them - he prayed for his family’s guidance and wellbeing.

5. Be patient - he stayed patient when his father ignored or opposed him.

6. Lead by example - his actions showed the truth of Allah’s message without forcing anyone.

7. Show gratitude - despite disagreements, he appreciated his father’s role in his life.

I wish that on the upcoming usrah session, I will gain more knowledge, friends and experiences. And lastly a gratitude thank you for my Najah for the sharing for every meeting.

This usrah provides many reminders that raise awareness about the importance of continuously improving oneself and maintaining a strong relationship with Allah. Each sharing creates space for self-reflection, reminding us that knowledge is not merely meant to be known, but to be practiced in daily life. The usrah also emphasizes that the process of change requires patience, sincerity, and support from a positive environment. It is hoped that all the knowledge gained will serve as guidance in making decisions, shaping better character, and continuously drawing closer to Allah.
