In addition, I also learned about the importance of incorporating a morning meeting for students in the instructional setting. For example, a morning meeting can be used in the instructional setting to start the class. These morning meetings can be used in elementary, middle, and high school classroom settings. In this activity, students will be able to express their thoughts and opinions with their peers and with the instructor. Students will also gain critical thinking skills and gain respect for their peers. 

Students who have a sense of belonging to a school or classroom community are more likely to engage in positive academic behaviors that produce higher levels of engagement and performance (Osterman, 2000).
