I mean what can I really say? I've watched you do absolutely amazing as the principal of ENDMS. From your transition to your leadership now- you are developing your staff in ways they have not known before. You have been principalling like crazy in the middle of a pandemic with 75 million variants and with students and staff that need so much more than we anticipated. You are amazing! Keep shining gurl!!!!!

Year 3 of working with you! I have seen you grow and develop in ways that I don't think you would have believed when we first met. You have stayed strong for the staff and the students with so many transitions taking place in the middle of a pandemic! You are an amazing person and ENDMS is lucky to have you!

I have loved working more closely with you this year. You are so good at what you do, and I am learning from you constantly. You always encourage us to think of ALL students when we plan units or consider PDs, and you are so good at getting creative and thoughtful about how to support your team with what they need right now, even if it's something different. Endeavor is so lucky to have you, and I am lucky to work closely with you : )

I so appreciate how you've been a rock for Endeavor this year with so many adaptive challenges coming your way. It just didn't stop this year and you were steady throughout. Alexa! I am so, so grateful that you've welcomed me on this journey with you over the past three years as you've taken on the DSS role. Because of YOUR commitment, self-reflection, growth, vision and support you've led your school to YOY gains in compliance, GR, behavior intervention structures and supports, and most of all - created safe and caring relationships for COUNTLESS children and families, which is the MOST important things we can do given the painful challenges of the last several years. You are amazing, Endeavor and AF are so lucky to have a leader like you!

You already know you're a great math dean, so in the spirit of great discourse, e.g. using our time to do things we don't already know , I won't go on about that.

Instead, I wanted to tell you a few things I have learned from you:
1. Usher's last name
2. The saying, "I only wear clothes that make me feel fabulous"
3. The idea to make up motivating names for every day of the week
4. Coaching-wise, I don't think I've ever see anyone better prioritize their time across an entire department

There's more, but this note is already getting a bit long, and I'm working on my own pacing, so that's enough for now. Happy School Leader Appreciation Week; hope it's a great one :)

As I reflect back on last year, I want to express gratitude to you and all the work you do for your science community 😊. You provided and continue to provide a lot of selfless help and guidance. Although the year has been difficult, it was full of heartwarming moments: and bright spots across your school. It is during difficult times where we know what leaders are made of; you remained an example of positivity, clear long-term thinking, and rational action, throughout the ups and downs.
