The Shire, home of the Hobbits, this specific Hobbit hole belongs to Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo Baggins wasn't the ordinary Hobbit, he kept to himself and never went out. Bilbo loved his Hobbit hole, he held lots of treasures and he loved to sit on the bench right outside his hole and smoke his pipe. The Shire, the perfect place for Bilbo Baggins.

Call to Adventure

Bilbo was sitting on the bench, having a normal day, when a mysterious man in a wizard costume introduced himself as Gandalf. Gandalf explained to Bilbo about an adventure he wants to share with him, Bilbo refused his offer and went back to his Hobbit hole. Later that night there was a loud knock on the door, when he opened the door Bilbo was met with what looks like a tall dwarf. After letting him in, moments after this multiple dwarfs started showing up and making themselves at home without permission, Bilbo knew he was in for a long night.

Refusal of the Call

Gandalf and the company give Bilbo a contract, confirming that Bilbo is with the company and is ready for the dangers that come with. Bilbo is horrified by the contents in the contract and faints. When Bilbo awakes, he tells Gandalf that he can't join them and he goes to bed.

When Bilbo wakes from his sleep, he realizes that the dwarves are gone and his house is back in order. He is at first excited about their disappearance and tries to go on with his day. But Bilbo thinks for a moment and he decides to sign the contract and run out to find the company hoping their still nearby.

Allies, Trials, and Enemies

Bilbo overcomes some challenges on his journey like facing trolls, climbing a mountain during a battle, and facing wargals. During these trails, Bilbo and the dwarves start bonding because of the troubles they have been through basically bringing them together, well everyone except Thorin.

Approach to the Inmost Cave

Bilbo was about to leave the company because he finds that he doesn't belong with the company. Bilbo, Gandalf, and the dwarves feel this rumbling underneath them and they start to panic, this is when the floor opens up and they all fall in this troll cave. Bilbo falls deeper into the cave and has to face an odd troll named Gollum. Bilbo finds a ring with the power to turn one invisible while wearing it, and he trys to escape using this ring.

The Road of Trials

After Bilbo, Gandalf, and the dwarves escape Azog, the company has to face challenges like escaping the wargals + Azog (again), befriending Beorn, escaping the elves, and finding their way up the mountain in just a few days. Once Bilbo and the company find their way up the mountain with trial and error, Bilbo learns that he must find the stone in a mountain full of gold while also not waking the sleeping beast before him.

The Ultimate Boon

Bilbo realizes that he has to give the arkenstone to the elves to stop the war between the dwarves, elves, and man. He thinks since Thorin would give anything for the arkenstone, then he would break down the wall guarding the mountain and give the men and elves their share of the gold.

The Road Back

After the war was over, the new ruler of The Lonely Mountain gave Thorin's share of the gold to the elves and the men. Bilbo said his farewells to the dwarves and Gandalf and started off back to the Shire. On the way home, Bilbo stopped by the troll cave and got the treasure that some of the dwarves buried in a hole, to bring back home.
