"The survival of our species has always depended on our advances in agriculture"

This quote is very eye opening. It is crazy to think that the survival of the human life has depended entirely on how we have made made advances in agriculture. The potential of furthering our advances in has never been criticized more than it is being right now. The way for people to communicate the potential findings or has never been harder because of the greater focus on the food that we eat.(Rowe 2017)

"Much easier to sell fear than science"

I chose this quote because i feel that it is a huge reason that people have such big opinions on things around agriculture. Science does not have a bias or an opinion that might not be true. In the movie when it shows the people that are protesting, some of the stuff they are saying or showing is not true. What people have to realize is that we have to feed the world as the population is continuing to get larger and larger. we have to continue to make advances in agriculture to be able to do so.(Mantz 2017)

"if you dont have food, then you are going to steal. you are going to kill someone"

This quote stood out to me as i was watching this movie. Its crazy to think about if this were to ever happen. The thought that we wouldnt have any food and the only way to get some food would be to steal or even to the extreme of going to kill some one is absolutely unimaginable for me to think about.

This quote is a really important one when talking about GMOs. I watched a youtube video where Jimmy Kimmel asks people on the streets what GMOs are or what they stand for. It was crazy just how many people dont have any idea what it is but they have a opinion about it. One person was asked what it was and she said she didnt know what it was but she said all i know is that it is bad for you. People need to be educated about what GMOs are and what they are intended to be used for. (conneally 2018)

This quote is even more relevant to the discussion about GMOs and whether people believe they are good or bad for you. People have such a big opinion about this topic that they might not have complete facts and they will try to persuade others to have the same view as them.
