Students are classified at the beginning of each school year according to the number of credits they have earned.

⮚Students will have the opportunity to earn 8 credits per year. 
⮚Students must earn at least 26 credits to graduate!

❖US History (11th)

*Possibly take summer courses.

*Take weighted classes (extra 10 points):

        oDual Credit (TCC classes, earliest 10th grade)

•9th graders will not have a rank/GPA until their 9th grade year is complete.

-Languages Other than English (LOTE)

For purposes of applications to institutions of higher education, the district shall also calculate a cumulative class rank to include all courses taken (see EIC local). This rank will be the one located on the transcript.

-Review the 9th grade courses in XELLO with your student

-Classes are selected by submitting course plan in XELLO (you can access via your Classlink dashboard) and final approval from high school counselor visit in fall/spring

REQUESTING CHANGES

-On April 16th, students and parents will receive an email from MISD to review the selected courses in skyward. A google form link will be available to submit changes up until 3pm on April 25th to make changes for next year.
