To develop student-driven activities first I must foster my resilience.

But,  HOW DO I FOSTER MY RESILIENCE?
- I always see things from another person’s point of view
- I always pump up my positivity in order to find some silver lining in even the worst of circumstances

and last but not least ...

- I  live to learn.  I learn valuable lessons from my experiences and from the experiences of others.

It is the ability to return to good mental health after difficult situations. Students learn from mistakes, see failure as lessons to be learn  from and as opportunities  for growth.
Pupils should be provided with the right environment to be able to build positive relationships and make independent decisions.
In relation to my reflection on how to weaken a student's confidence and independence, I would say

We weaken our pupils confidence by criticising them without taking into account they are in front of their peers. They can even develop a dislike to you,  feeling uncomfortable in your class which is not a good start. I also believe that totally guided activities make learning mechanical and monotonous by repeating patterns or information whereas the most important part of the information we can remember is the one which was significant and implied investigation and devoting time to discovering and deepen in our discoveries.

They ought to have initiative , be curious, persistent, creative, innovative, hard-working, self-confident, independent,  passionate, committed .
They should have a desire to improve, change and innovate. Taking risks, solving problems, recovering from failure are positive traits they must have.
They have to face challenges to make them investigate and collaborate with others. They must have freedom of choice and be responsible for their work.
