These have included Fortune 500 enterprises and US-listed businesses headquartered in Asia. As chief financial officer (CFO) of Kulicke & Soffa (K&S) from 2010 to 2018, Jonathan Chou helped guide a major semiconductor packaging and electronic assembly company reaching a market capitalization of $2 billion. In his CFO role, Mr. Chou managed all aspects of operations including strategic planning, customer interaction and development projects such as advanced packaging. His focus on costs and efforts enabled business performance that consistently exceeded estimates, as he revamped the K&S capital structure from one that was net debt to one in which corporate debt was fully paid. Mr. Chou earned his BA in economics at the University at Buffalo and completed an MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Since 2013, he has been active as a member of Duke’s East Asia Regional Advisory Board. Jonathan Chou also has past experience as co-founder and chairman of the Children’s Heart Foundation of Hong Kong.
