         <description><![CDATA[<div>This school is a public school that serves the behaviorally challenged youth. The current grades are K-12 and a academy side that serves the autistic children. The hours are from 7:45 to 3:30 and run Monday through Thursday following the bluestem schedule. If a child is found that they would be better served in another placement and arent being successful in a regular education setting this is where they would attend.</div>]]></description>

They bring me great joy to watch them succeed! Some have many obstacles that they have to overcome and many times I take my work home with me, meaning that I find myself always thinking about them.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The learning setting is very proactive to being a calming and comfortable place. When walking into the building the first thing that you notice is the smell of the wonderful diffusers that are going around the building that make the building smell wonderful. The walls and colors around the building are very bright and seem to make it a very happy place. When walking into other buildings it seems dull and doesn't have color, but not this place. The classroom size it nice as well, the student to adult ratio is lower and the students get more one on one attention. It seems that all the students do better when they are getting the attention of the adults in the building. The staff and the teachers in the building are very patient and calm and seem to want to help each and every student.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Everyone knows that I love the flexible seating options. In each and every room the flexible seating options range from the exercise balls to big joe chairs to mushroom chairs. The students seems to enjoy these options and make the classroom setting more homey feeling and you can feel that when you go into each room.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first thing that I notice with these students is they do really well with a token or reward system. The students can earn movie tickets in the classroom for the student to pick out a prize a the end of the week on Thursday. The prizes range from candy to pops to cars and other nick knacks. They also do a level system in the school. With this level system they have three different levels that allow the students to have different privileges. The students strive to be on the level 3 tier which is also known as the superhero level and it the highest.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One of the biggest in the school is the amount of visuals that are provided all over the school. From CHAMPS expectations to schedules for the day, these visuals are everywhere. This students strive to sticking to a schedule and do way better when they schedule is followed. Students also have access to more one on one time with other adults in the building and this helps the students to remain calmer and do better on assignments and being in control of their behaviors.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is one of the best places that I have ever worked for. The staff is such a caring staff and will do anything in their power to help others. I love working with these kiddos. Although they may be the most challenging audience to serve it is one of the most rewarding. Getting to see a child transition back to a regular ed setting or getting to see them graduate is one of the most exciting things that I have ever witnessed. I love getting to learn new techniques and within this school every child is unique making the school even more unique. I truly enjoy each and every day being there.</div>]]></description>
