Daniella: this week was really fun starting off the exhibition .

We are having so much fun and exploring a lot in our topic and I can’t wait to do more our mentor Miss Hannah is so nice and fun.

Eva: This week was really good and exciting because we were starting the exhibition! So we started by exploring in our PYP exhibition planner and then found out our mentor. Then we started by starting our padlet and we can not wait to have more fun 🤩

Karmah: This week was really fun because we got to meet our mentor and learn more information that we never knew about and information that can help us improve our work.

Eva: This week the real deal started to happen! When we started my teacher Mr. Jonathan told me and my group that we have to email our mentors for a meet-up.

They play an important role in blocking ultraviolet (UV) radiation from being absorbed by the skin. UV radiation damages the skin and can lead to sunburns and skin cancer. No sunscreen blocks UV radiation 100%. But they allow you to be outdoors for a longer time before your skin starts to redden.

In Hot or Humid Weather:

• More sweat and oil.

• Use light gels or moisturizers (not heavy creams).

• Choose oil-free or mattifying makeup.

• Always wear sunscreen—water-based is best.

Windy Weather:

• Can cause chapped, red skin.

• Use barrier creams or ceramides.

• Skip exfoliants—skin may be sensitive.

In Rainy or Damp Weather:

Humidity + Pollution: Can cause breakouts if skin isn't cleaned properly.

This week was amazing we went to our mentor on Thursday and took a picture with her. Now we are mostly focusing on getting a meeting with a dermatologist.

Karmah: This week was really fun but tough at the same time. Daniella had a great idea to make a game for the students, teachers, and parents who come to our stall. We all pitched in to help in this great idea.
