The subject personal development was helpful for me because it taught me more about my inner self, it changed how I view different situations in life, and inspired me to be someone that aims to be better emotionally, socially, mentally, and spiritually. This subject allowed me to branch out and think of myself in different careers which made me more committed to the one I wanted, that being cardio thoracic surgery, not just that but Personal Development made me think about the different types of families, parenting styles, and love styles, and helped me determine the partner I want to be in the future, the type of father I aim to be in the future, and the friend I want to be moving forward. In conclusion, Personal Development helped me better understand myself, my capabilities, and my goals for myself moving forward and helped me learn how to accept myself more as a person.

2. What were your key takeaways from the subject?

The key takeaways I learned from this subject are to always learn how to do better, how to become a better person socially, and how to love and accept yourself and treat yourself. Personal Development allowed me to learn these things because in all of the topics it showed me how one can deal with stress, how one can love, how ones personality can shape them, and how one can choose their careers. These lessons helped me learn that I cannot always be perfect and that I cannot always do everything alone, Personal Development taught me how to use my personality to my advantage and how to get help from others especially at my times of need. In summary, this subject helped me learn how to properly collaborate, communicate , and grow with other people, while teaching me how to love, care, and respect myself in order for me to become comfortable in my own skin.

3. What two topics were your favorites and why?

The two topics that were my favorite in Personal Development were stress and parts of the brain. These topics were my favorite because of the relationship these two have with how one acts and how one learns. For example in stress it showed me how if one is too stressed it can affect how they think, affect how they feel, and can also affect how they respond to different situations, even changing how they respond all together. The second lesson parts of the brain were my favorite also because it showed me the niche relationship the different parts have with different functions whether it be memory, creativity, or your motor skills in general. I loved these two topics because they showed how one change in stress level or one change in development in your brain can change how you perceive things, how you view different situations, and even changes what motivates u to move forward.
