The given pictorial demonstrates the development of a frog from eggs to a mature amphibian during the cycle of its life.

In general, a frog’s life cycle contains six main steps, commencing with the mating process and ending with the maturity of a frog.

To begin with, two frogs get together and mate, then frog spawns are laid in water. Eventually, a small tadpole emerges and transformed into a bigger tadpole with two small back limbs and a long tail. By this stage of metamorphosis, the tadpole transfers into a young frog with bigger back limbs and two front limbs. Its tail gets smaller overtime together with the development of the two eyes and a big mouth, however, it still live underwater. At this time, it still remain the ability to swim as to adapt with the semi-aquatic lifestyle. Once the final stage has been completed, its tail completely disappears and the mature frog can breathe well. Finally, it gets out of the water to get accustomed to its new life on land. The mature frog now looks for a company and the life cycle shall be repeated.
