Children's International Festival

We are very proud of our international children's festival that we hosted for 7 previous years. The participants were from Ukraine, North Macedonia, Slovenia, The Netherlands, The Czech Republic and Germany. We also took part in exchanges with our partner schools from these countries. Unfortunately, this year we are not able to realize the festival due to the Covid 19, but it is organized in virtual space,as an eTwinning project.

Our school is a high school with a bilingual section and the eight-year grammar school (classes: PRIMA, SECUNDA, TERCIA, KVARTA, KVINTA, SEXTA, SEPTIMA, OKTAVA).

It is 101 years old. It is named after the greatest Slovak poet who lived and worked in our town. It is situated in the center of our town near the main square. The facade is in blue. The bilingual students study some subjects in English. There are about 500 students at our school. We have a big gym which is quite new. We learn two foreign languages - English, German, Russian or French. We have special classrooms for foreign languages, chemistry, biology, physics and IT.

ICS SAN GIOVANNI BOSCO is a school situated in a region called Abruzzo. Our schoolcomplex is in Ortucchio, a little village of about 1000 inhabitants, and it is a very nice place surrounded by mountains and, in winter, by snow. Pupils study English and French, Maths, Art, Geography and many other subjects.

We are from Krusevac, a town in central Serbia that used to be the capital city in 14th century. The remains of the old town are still visible, although not much is preserved.

We are a primary school and our students are 6-15 years old. We have about 800 students in 8 grades. Our school takes name after an important figure in the history of the Serbian language, Vuk Karadžić. He was alinguist and a reformer of the Serbian language and alphabet. He wrote the first grammar book of our language, collected and preserved old Serbian folk literature that passed from generations to generations only orally for centuries. His cyrillic alphabet is still in use.
