It's been about 4 years ago now when I got my first horse. I knew nothing about buying a horse let alone having one. We traveled 2 hours to find the right one, but at the time did not know what we were getting into. We finally found the perfect horse, he was severely starved and the last time he was ridden was about a year ago at the time. We had to learn a lot to help him, and put many hours into training to get him rideable and healthy again. It definitely paid off, because he is now the sweetest horse that even knows some Dressage!

About two weeks ago I traveled home from what was supposed to be a "luxurious" vacation. I went to Universal Studios Orlando for a family-fun summer vacation. I expected the best vacation I had in years, but sadly, that was not the case. I got two bad ear infections that made me not be able to hear well. I also sprained and completely scratched-up one leg. On top of that, I sprained my knee of the other leg. My vacation was far from blissful. This made me determined, no matter how badly injured I was; I was going to the park to visit attractions. When I got home I started working out and becoming more fit for those type of scenarios. I will be going back to Orlando's Universal Studios next year for a much better experience.

It was 2 years ago when we got one of our dogs, Belle. We were told we were first to get the dog since we completed all the paperwork. Turns out there was someone ahead of us and they didn't show up until 1 hour before closing so we waited 4-5ish hours. They ended up letting us have the dog because it was a lady and her college-age son and we were younger and probably a better fit for a puppy.

Belle is the one on the left with our other dog Chip. This was taken the day we got her.

Only a couple of weeks ago I was sitting under the bright stadium lights, biting my nails. I was watching the most important event of my brothers young life. They were competing in South Carolina's Dixie Youth Baseball Majors state tournament. Going head-to-head with some of South Carolina's strongest teams. The park was dead silent as everybody anticipated the last pitch. I could hear my heartbeat ringing through my ears. "Strike 3!" the umpire said. They had done it. Bamberg had won the biggest tournament of the year.

When I was in 5th grade (2018), some friends and I were outside during extra recess. We had chosen to go down the slide, and someone at the bottom was trying to tag the two people in front of me. They stopped, and I made the mistake of going down the slide behind them. After I went, another one of my friends came down. Of course, someone else HAD to come down the slide at full speed. I was sandwiched in the middle of 4 people. We were stuck like that for more than 5 minutes, cramped and uncomfortable. I was on the verge of flipping over the side of the slide. After 5-10 minutes of being stuck, we finally came down the slide very slowly. It was very helpful trying to walk after that...

About a month and a half ago, I went to the Bahamas. The water was so clear there and it felt so good up against my skin. It was really something you would call paradise. It was my mom, my dad, my two sisters, my best friend, my best friends mom and dad, and me. They also had an amazing water park and a ride called the Leap of Faith. My best friend was terrified to go on it, so I went first. It was amazing. The slide went straight down! It was so straight that when you sat down waiting for the little light at the top to show green you couldn't even see the slide because of the awning that went over it. You had to cross your legs and your arms and you couldn't sit up. You went through a tunnel filled with sharks, but the ride went so fast you didn't have enough time to really see anything. Overall, the experience was amazing!

I put on my Tinkerbell costume thinking I could fly. After seeing my brother jump off I thought I could do the same because I was Tinkerbell and could fly. Unfortunately it didn't end so swell. I landed on my right arm, ended up breaking it and having a pink cast on for awhile. She and I went and played with dolls upstairs. I was going to make a pool for the dolls and turned on the tap and went downstairs, but I got distracted and played on my tablet.

It has been a few years ago, so maybe when I was around 12 years old, my sisters decided to conduct an experiment. Could you defrost a piece of frozen bread in the microwave? Sure, you could do it with frozen veggies or fruits, but what about bread? 10 minutes later, and they are pulling a smoking, completely black, piece of bread out of the microwave using a pair of tongs to hold it because it was to hot to touch. The burnt lump of bread was promptly taken out to the patio where it was doused with hose water before it caught fire. Lets just say that they have never experimented with bread and microwaves since.

This literally happened during my 20-21 summer. my sister was hungry and there apparently to her was nothing to eat so she decided to boil chicken and ramen in the same pot on high and also poured half the container of olive oil inside. So all of a sudden smoke comes from downstairs and she is busy babbling about not getting in trouble but she brought it upon herself do disobey a direct order to not cook when our parents are not home. so the situation ended up escalating and no the house didn't burn down and I ended up using a class A/B/C extinguisher and most of it missed the pot and then it stopped. then went back up again so I decided to deal with the problem first hand. good news I permenatly extinguished the fire; bad news I woke a ancient beast known to man kind as blitzilla. I currently have blisters on my hands and arm. I called 9 1 1 and they took care of smoke while I had took care of the fire. and she has to do the kitchen until my blisters heal but we all know that's going to be a long time. ( btw my mom calls my blisters battle scars )

I do not remember exactly what I was doing with the bowl (I think I was boiling something for school), but I had put it on the oven and set the oven to high. As with many stories where the oven is set to high, the incident quickly led to disaster. I had used a bowl that was not at all resistant to heat and made out of glass. Some of our other bowls were see-through and resistant, but this one was not. After a while, the bowl exploded and shards of glass layered the kitchen. My mother escorted me out of the room. I wasn't punished, but I felt pretty stupid.

(We were spies) I told him to stay there and take cover while I went to grab some spy materials. I walked away for only a few minutes to get toy binoculars and a whistle from the other room. When I walked back in he was gone but I heard something from inside the washing machine that opened at the top. So he somehow managed to climb on top of the washer and get stuck inside. I went to get my parents and my dad was trying to get him out while my mom yelled at me. Now I don't leave him with any washing machines.

My oldest brother Branden proposed to his now wife Bridget in 2019 after they had been happily dating for more than 8 years. They had planned for the wedding to be on July 25th, 2020, but due to the Covid 19 pandemic, it was cancelled. Unlike many others who pushed their weddings back a few months, they made the courageous decision to delay it by a whole year. We were all very upset that they had to cancel the wedding, but something great happened as a result of the wedding being postponed. They got the opportunity to stay with us for most of the year, and that gave us a chance to get to know Bridget better and they also got a dog during that time. When it was finally time for the wedding, the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and I am not going to lie, I teared up a little. After the ceremony we all took pictures and then made our way to the reception. It was a fun night full of fun and also laughter when I caught the bouquet.

Their wedding taught me many things; number one being that we should all embrace the bad things that happen in life because you never know, it might just be a blessing in disguise.

So me and five other kids plus two parents were on it going up to ride some other rides. But then after all the kids got on it started thundering, causing them to stop the lift while we were on it, also almost not letting the two adults with us on the lift. After sitting on the lift with it turning on and off about every five minutes we finally made it to the top and could get off the lift. But then it was about to rain, and we couldn't get on the lift to go down the hill so we had to run and find the path before we all got soaking wet.

A year ago, my parents and I had plans to get a camper. After months of searching, we finally found a camper that was the perfect fit for us. Our first vacation with the camper was a trip to Edisto Beach. On our way, not far from our destination, we heard a loud BOOM! One of the back tires of the camper exploded. This made me and my family very nervous. It was not only boiling hot outside, but the highway we were on was very bumpy making it easy for any of the tires to pop. Apparently, we were not the only ones affected by this because we saw many shredded tires along the road. Luckily, a spare tire was already attached to the camper, so we were not doomed. My dad was able to replace the ruined tire and we were on our way again. I still had a great time at Edisto Beach with biking, cooking, crabbing, and time on the beach.

This summer, summer of 2021, my mom, sisters, and I went horseback riding. When we got there everything was fine and we rode our horses out onto the trail. Soon the horses started unknowingly stepping on some underground hornet nests. The hornets, obviously mad, started stinging the horses in their butts. Did you know that when a horse feels pain their first instinct is to run? Well, that's what happened here. This being the first time riding a horse, I didn't know what to do. All the horses started to scatter away from the nests. Eventually, the horse instructor calmed the horses down a bit so we could ride back to the stables. Originally we paid for an hour on horses, but since we didn't get that we got a refund.

I have moved houses a lot in my life. During one of the moves, my parents got me a dog. I was so excited because I have always wanted one. I named him Farley, and I would always play with him when I came home from school. Except one day, my parents told me we were moving again. I thought that we would be able to bring Farley to our new house but we couldn't. The house at the time had a fence however the new house did not. We couldn't have him as a house dog which meant we had to give him away. We managed to give him to a loving family, but I was still very upset. I still miss him to this day.

My dad and his cousins decided to plan a family reunion dinner, at a park, in New York. We drove and flew many hours, also making a stop at Maryland to visit my grandpa. Soon we finally arrived. As I got out of the car I saw many new faces. I started playing on the slide and swings. Soon I met a little boy named Eddie. I also met a girl named Bella who was my age and a girl named Naomi who was a year younger than me. Soon we had dinner, with many good conversations, we got to know each other better. We were soon best friends. Throughout the day I met more of my dads cousins and their kids. We played many games such as tag, infection, hide and seek and racing. Soon, it got dark, sadly, it was time to go. It was hard saying bye to my new best friends, but I hope to see them again soon. I never knew I could make this many friendships from my dads family reunion.

A few years ago I found out we were going to get a new puppy! I was so excited because all of my siblings and I were hoping for a puppy. My mother was in a meeting and someone she knew mentioned they just got a puppy. She saw a picture of the puppy and showed it to us. We asked if there were any more puppies that we could adopt. My mother asked and sure enough there were two puppies left. We adopted one and my father's friend adopted the other one. They are absolutely adorable and are now about four years old. Both of the puppies did get into a lot of trouble though for the first two years. They liked to eat our toys and other items around the house. I knew adopting a puppy was a lot of work but I didn't realize how much!
