I asked Pear Deck to generate slides over Unit 2B of the Auténtico textbook which covers the preterite (past) tense and vocabulary about shopping. I copied the slides to my Google Slides and edited them because I needed to refine and delete extra/repetitive information.

I asked Claude to take the Unit 2B vocab. list and make it into a graphic organizer with a picture for every term. This is intended to help all students, especially aimed at those with Autism, ADHD, or dyslexia where visuals are extremely helpful for learning.

Copilot - 2B Vocab+Grammar Reading Passage

I asked Copilot to create a story based off of Auténtico 2 Unit 2B and use the vocabulary of the unit and grammar concepts. I copied and pasted it into a Google Doc where I edited the formatting. I like for my students to do some independent reading every Monday and this could be an efficient way to work on reading comprehension while also staying on topic of our unit.

Wayground - Preterite Practice

I searched on Wayground for a quiz that the kids could do to practice conjugating regular -AR, -ER, or -IR verbs to the preterite tense. I found a small one that we could do in Teacher Mode or Mountain depending on the comfortability with the preterite tense/how much they retained from Spanish 2 the year prior. I copied it and edited it by taking out some random vocabulary questions that weren’t enhancing the purpose of this set.
