It was called, "Kure". Everything there was farm fresh. They had fresh milk, cheese, eggs, fruit, vegetables, butter, cherries, (etc). In the summer, they would go to the meridian sea. The water there was so blue, that that's why turquoise has "Turq" in it, because it's in "Turkey". It was my mom who moved from Kure. She won a National contest, and got a free ticket to America! Only 2 out of the many people won, and my mom was one of them. She got a scholarship from the Turkish government, and moved here to get her PHD and Master's Degree. I am also about 20% Irish, 30% German, and 20% English. Most of my ancestors came for financial reasons, like better job opportunities. Fun Fact, I actually have the item used to store my great, great grandparents items and belongings when they sailed across the sea. It is mostly just a rust bucket, but tells a story. The Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, and Finnish was from my dads side, and the Irish, German, and English was from my moms side. I only remember one of the name, but Ben Affleck the 3rd came across the Atlantic Ocean by boat in a section with a bunch of cows. During the war between North and South Vietnam, my mom, her three siblings, and my grandma and grandpa all sailed over to the U.S. She was only seven at the time, so she doesn't remember much, but that's okay, because I found what I needed. my moms entire side was originally from Vietnam, so there was really not much to explore here, since I already knew quite a lot.
      My father is from the Netherlands, which many of you actually know, since he was at the world festival representing the Netherlands. He came to the U.S for a company which had hired him, even though he was in an entirely different continent! He flew over to the Americas when he was about thirty six, and here he met my mom. My dad is a modern pilgrim, because he came for a job. His entire family is still living in Holland, (with the exception of a few who have sadly passed away)so I know no one on my dads side of the family. I really want to fly to Holland, and meet the rest of my family. I am also 70% american, 15% Vietnamese, and 15% Dutch. (people also say I look Hawaiian, but oh well)

Taiwan was just a small island back then, and my uncle actually was chosen for this special duty. My dad's entire side was from China and so was my mom's. How I know this is true its because my moms great great great grandmother last name was Owens. I also looked up online :).

My Mother's side of the family sailed from Italy and Spain to Honduras (a small country under Mexico) back in the 1700's. The first person from my Mom's side to come to the U.S.A was my Great-Grandmother who came to New York from Honduras in 1974 to find work. 
My Father's Side of the family also came from Europe. My Grandmother's ancestors sailed from Sweden to the US in the 1800's. Likewise, my Grandfather's ancestors sailed from Whitby, England to the USA in the early 1800's. The town of Whitby, England is where my last name comes from.
