There is no Planet B, no other place to be and we only have this one chance to not mess with this heat.
One day you might see what we see and feel what we feel but that day has to come fast or we’ll all stop to breathe. 
So I’m asking you kindly to take some of your time and actually read why we worry about our green. 
So we can maybe prevent the question of our kids or grandkids asking, 
“Mommy, what is a “planet b”?” 

Now that we cought your attention, we want to talk about climate change, to be more specific global temperature since its such an important topic to talk about and should concern everyone.
We promise that by the end you will be amazed about how much you matter in the whole process of saving our planet.

Since our topic is about how the climate changes we read many articles about how that happened and want to tell you about the most dramatic facts that caught our attention. 

Who turned up the Temperature?
Since 1980 every decade has been warmer than the previous one and human activities have already warmed the earth from 0.8°C to 1°C - and it is expected to continue like that due to the heat-trapping greenhouse gases. 
But how does 0.2°C affect earth? 
The impact is quite horrifying!
People are dying same as billions of animals, offices are closed, disruption happens and wildfires take over an entire Country. 
For example Australias bush fire that took place in 2019-2020.
Its the worst bush fire on record and burned 18.9 million Hectares by mid- January and still affects the entire area. 
So to be specific- we turned up the Temperature. 

What impact does the rise in temperature have?
In some regions people do not have any access to clean water. 
For example in Southern Africa, Ethiopia. 
Mass extinction may occur and animals have to leave their habitat.
For example Turtles! 
You may remember the popular #SavetheTurtles that went viral on many social media Plattforms. 
But just because that Trend is gone now does not mean they are not in danger anymore. 
Since the beach sand has such high temperatures only female sea turtles hatch.
That means some time soon only female sea turtles exist and no opportunity for re-production is given. 

How do I make a living?
Food shortage, water stress and fish full of plastic will be part of our everyday live. 
To make a living won’t matter anymore, you only want to survive and everyone will do anything to accomplish that.

But why should we wait for our real life Hunger Games if we can change our toxic habits now? 
The Solutions are difficult but not unreachable!
Of course plastic is cheaper than biodegradable material but if you invest into that you also invest into Planet Earth. 
So change your mindset because you do matter!
Second solution is to educate other people about what they could do better and always keep on learning about new stuff!
You don‘t have to be perfect right away- no one ever was- but the little things make a change. 
Third solution is reduce your consumption!
Do you really need the newest IPhone or the newest pair of shoes? 
Do you really need to eat meat everyday to be happy?
The Answer is short but true: NO!
Be aware and stop being Egoistic! 
Someday there may be a Planet B but if we keep on consuming like we do now we won‘t ever experience that.
