• DEFINE THE FOLLOWING:

a.) SCIENCE - It is the systematic study of the natural world through observation, experimentation, and analysis to understand and explain how things work.

b.) TECHNOLOGY - It refers to the application of scientific knowledge and principles to create or make tools and system that solve problems and improve human life.

c.) Society - This is a group of people living together in a community, following shared rules, beliefs, and traditions that shape how they interact.

•DESCRIBE THE RELATIONSHIP OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIETY

- The relationship between science, technology, and society is that they all influence and depend on each other. Science gives us new knowledge, which leads to creating technology. The technology changes how people live by creating something new, which then affects society. Society, in turn, decides what science should focus on and what technology is needed. Together, they work as a cycle, helping each other grow and improve life.

**Eksena 1: Simula ng Pulong**

(Maingay ang barangay hall. May nagkukwentuhan, may nagce-cellphone.

**Kapitan Tony:** “O, tahimik muna! May natutuwa, may naiinis. Kaya pag-usapan natin, anong masasabi niyo?”

**Lola Biring:** “Ay, Kap!

**Eksena 2: Debate!**

**Lola Biring:** “Kung walang internet, walang scammers!

**Julius:** “May solusyon diyan.

**Aling Tess:** “Tama, Kap!

**Lola Biring:** (napapaisip) “Hmm…

**Kapitan Tony:** (tumayo) “Ayos!

**Eksena 5: Pagtatapos at Bagong Simula**

**Aling Tess:** “Magandang ideya ‘yan!

**Kapitan Tony:** “Tama!

1. Respect for Human Life and Well-Being

So eto po ang number 1 postulate na dapat nating i-implement when it comes to machine learning, especially if ang goal nito is to aid human activities. A machine's primary function is to preserve its human counterpart, and must refrain from hurting them physically or emotionally.

2. Fairness and Non-Discrimination

Ang machine learning systems, specifically AI, should refrain from forming a bias against a certain demographic, specifically race, gender, and even social class. If the machines are going to be seen as "servants", then they must stay professional and treat everyone with the same level of respect.

3. Honesty and Transparency.

Pretty self-eplanatory. Dapat po ang machine ay may complete transparency when it comes to providing their services, in a way that a simple human could understand

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

Even though na ang transparency ay important, information about certain people in which a machine aides should be kept private. They should have their own databases inside the computer's storage that every human it is serving should have unique access to.

5. Accountability and Responsibility

Although inorganic and supercomputing, a machine will still make inevitable mistakes.

Biodiversity includes not just animals and plants but also fungi and bacteria, all of which work together to keep ecosystems balanced. Since 1970, animal populations have decreased by 73%, which is a serious sign of how human activities are affecting nature. The good news is, if we reduce our impact and take care of the environment, nature has the power to heal and bounce back.

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) are not only used in farming but also help make vaccines and medicines that save lives. One example is the EnviroPig, which was genetically modified using mouse and bacteria DNA to help reduce pollution from pig waste. Gene technology also plays a role in synthetic biology, where scientists create entirely new organisms.

Gene therapy is a treatment that targets faulty genes to help cure diseases, especially those passed down from parents. There are two main types: somatic therapy, which affects only the treated person, and germline therapy, which can be passed on to future generations. It works by using DNA or RNA to help the body produce healthy proteins it couldn't make before.
