Furthermore, antibiotic and hormones mixed in the water are used for animal health directly leads to the water pollution. Because of the livestock feeding farmers used many pesticides for growing healthy crops this may causes the land degradation which is harmful for the environment. The process of Livestock production causes greenhouse emission for instance CO2 and CH4 which may increase the chances of greenhouse emission and it directly effects on global climate change and air pollution. Additionally,  because of the transportation of livestock used for animals feed products for export or import that is also one of the major causes of greenhouse emission. In summary, lab-meat is a impactful way to overcome the environmental issues created by livestock.

Livestock also may cause water pollution. Due to the use of antibiotics and chemicals for animal’s health it may be water pollution. Furthermore, every activities of livestock may lead greenhouse gas emission for instance, CO2 and CH4 may effect global activities. 24% of GHGs emission happened due to agricultural and farming activities in 2010 worldwide among these 80% GHGs emission was due to livestock. Whereas, lab meat may not harm environment because such activities are not done in production of lab meat. In summary, lab meat may helpful to reduce the problems created by livestock which may helpful for environment.
