I think the most important things to consider in writing a good reflective essay is first to define your main topic by having a clear introduction, that includes the personal feelings they want to emphasize in the whole reflection. The next thing is being concise about the body of the essay or the descriptions of the reflective experience, and lastly a strong conclusion or takeaways, and while writing the reflection, it is better to always go back to the main point of your essay.

In my opinion, a good reflective writing really depends on how well you are connected to the topic you are talking about and how personal you can get with the essay. It is hard for someone to reflect on the things that he/she personally has no interest in so I really believe that a good reflective writing solely depends on the person who's writing it and what the story is.

I believe that a good reflective essay incorporates great detail and a natural flow of scenes that allows the readers to immerse themselves within the writing. It would be best to be concise, however, still have a distinct point that is supported and referred to. With this, the writer is able to as if take the readers back to that moment and have them understand and feel for themselves the events of the writing.

The common thing I find in the reflections I liked was the authenticity of the story. When the use of the words actually allows me to be in the person's shoes when I'm reading their story. Because I often find exaggerations in many reflections, maybe to have a more obvious dramatic effect. This takes away away the unique feeling that I only get when hearing or reading about life stories. A human life has its own charm that's different from everyone else's, and authenticity is what gives that charm.

I believe a good reflective essay has to have detailed and authentic imagery, that is, vividly describing the setting while clearly explaining the story. You also need to include your thoughts and emotions in the writing, narrating what was going on through your head at that time.

The writer revisits their prior experience and from that, they are able to recall what they felt during the event and what was in their minds. To be able to produce a good reflective essay, the words used must clearly describe the event, emotions and thought because that's how the writer will able be connect the readers to the essay.

A good reflective essay relies on both delivery and the writer's ability to express themselves. A reflective essay is as much for the author as it is for the audience; they are writing to properly process an event and sharing their thoughts with their audience. With that, the author's ability to deliver their message to their audience is also a factor. A good reflective essay will make it easy for the audience to understand the author's thoughts and experiences despite differences such as experiences, societal norms, and culture.

Good reflective writing entails authenticity because you are writing a story that must be held true to how you, the author, and the audience wants to see it. In addition to this, there is also the need to connect with your readers whether it may be through words that may captivate them or scenarios in which they can visualize themselves in. The important thing is that at the end of a reflection you are able to achieve a better understanding of the main point that you started with.

A good reflective writing is when an individual is able to explore his/her past experiences and produce an outcome or lessons about it. It is also good if it is real and life changing. There should be a series of realization on the bad or good experiences that happened. Also, in relation to the past topic, it is also good when it followed the Gibbs Model which covers the Description, Feelings, Evaluation, Analysis, Conclusion, and Action plan. By this, it would be easer to understand and comprehend what is going on in the reflective writing.

A good reflective essay is when the author honestly talks about their experiences and acknowledges everything that happened since writers sometimes have tendencies to filter things out for the sake of "making the story better." Although this act of filtering is something normal and is innate in our being as people, by emphasizing the substance of the important points of their experience without filtering anything that can change their narrative, can be helpful in keeping the integrity of their writing as something reflective since it is true to their experiences and what actually happened. As well as by having a certain structure, which can help readers visualize the writer's reflection process.

Personally, I see good reflective writing as literature that comes from the heart. This does not just include recounting events, expressing nuanced emotions in a state of reflection and with a depth of self-awareness. The purpose of reflective writing is to look back on certain events and explore the layers within them such as your feelings, lessons, and how they may shape your perspective moving forward. When writing reflectively, it’s important to go beyond surface-level observations and instead aim for insight, sincerity, and self-awareness.
