Post #1: The greatest thing I've learned from this novel was to not let someone else take control of your time. The author showed Laura as a distraction in a toxic relationship towards Freddy's friendship with her friends. The author showed this by creating times that Freddy promised Doodle that she would be there, but always not show up or late. I think what stood out to me was the dialogues and actions of the characters. I enjoyed the realistic view of the narration, and it makes the characters relatable.
