It also made it easier for them to find the answer to the questions since they had written a word/phrase beside each paragraph, which helped them remember what that particular paragraph was about. 
I plan to use the List-Group-Label vocabulary strategy during reading camp to help my students make connections, which will not only help with comprehension but will also increase their vocabulary knowledge. This also seems like a fun and creative way for kids to make connections with words.
