I started taking Karate lessons at the Kobushi Family Karate Center.

2011

Parkway Manor 5th Grade. I participated in after-school Learning clubs where I learned foreign languages which sparked my love of learning.

2014

In 8th grade, I wanted to take Chemistry but several teachers told me it would be difficult and involve chemicals. I took the class, got an A, and discovered I liked science.

2015-2018

I volunteered at the Da Vinci Science Center. During my time there, I assisted the Education Coordinator with setting up exhibits, worked with children ages 3 to 10 during their on-site summer science programs, and assisted with special events.

2015

I earned my black belt karate and was a member of their leadership team. During that time, I helped in their special need class and interacted with many of their young students.

I was awarded the Vitruvian Volunteer Award for my volunteer service at DaVinci Science Center.

2018

I took my first Early Childhood class in high school. After meeting the preschoolers, I decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education.

2019

I expressed my interest in earning a degree in Early Childhood Education but was discouraged form taking Early Childhood class for credits because the work would be too hard, the pace would be too fast and the classes would be too difficult. This gave me the incentive to work hard and prove that I could accomplish anything that I set my mind to.

I started volunteering at at Lehigh Children's Academy in their Pre-Kindergarten classroom.
