         <title>Need is  very great in some of my collaborative classes.  Multiple languages are a challenge for me in ENG classes.. Many students with very limited skills in upper level classes...  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Math is so language based that we need more direct instruction on " how to read the math &nbsp; ? "<br><br>Kids schedules are switched and sometimes the numbers in the collaborative classes are the biggest the teacher has all day versus&nbsp; what they should be ...smaller...<br><br>Some GEN ED staff are better with the EC crowd than others and we often lose them to AP or HONORS classes via admin ..not staff choice... We may not have our best options with our kids...<br><br>AC Strats classes need to be balanced...numbers and need....<br><br>COMMUNICATION has been a major issue......&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>sometimes there is a theory that the department  follows, but it does not mesh with what works best for some EC students.  Example:  Some Direct Instruction versus Discovery Model.  Sometimes, our students need implicit instruction.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Barriers include: uncommon planning time, students being resistant to trying new things or talking, pacing, getting ready to do something/make something and then it not being used/not being done,  time/energy to get everything done, not having plans enough in advance.</title>

         <title>strategically - class sizes should be addressed. Classes, especially Academic Strategies (AS), should be balanced in #&#39;s. The impact of overloaded AS should be accounted for. Teachers unwilling to listen to advice. Teachers unwilling to recognize that students with IEP&#39;s learn differently. Communication at all levels should be improved. The recognition that collaboration is emergent and such opportunities should be scheduled OR recognition given that collaboration doesn&#39;t just happen, especialy with teacher who are going to do what they have been doing for years.</title>
