         <description><![CDATA[<div>How would nullification impact the strength of the United States? Explain.<br><br>(If this is referring to taxes on imports.) If they stopped taxing imports their economy could go down and they could become low on money.<br><br>How did regional differences influence people's views on nullification, the tariff, and states' rights?<br><br>The North made more exports rather than imports because it was focused on manufacturing, other than the South who made more imports than exports because they didn't focus on manufacturing.<br><br>3. Explain how this conflict was resolved without leading to civil war? <br><br>Congress made a compromise which made a reduction of import duties for 10 years, South Carolina agreed to this.</div>]]></description>
